Los Angeles International Airport

1 World Way
310.646.1893

Overview: Los Angeles International is the most diverse and comprehensive airport on the West Coast. You can connect to virtually any city in the world from LAX. Trucks, trailers, and campers should use perimeter lots because of restricted clearance in parking structures and limited open parking in the central terminal area. Curbspace in front of terminals is restricted to immediate loading and unloading of passengers and baggage for a maximum of three minutes.

Unattended vehicles will be cited and may be impounded. As you near the airport by car, dial 530 on AM radio for information on parking and traffic conditions near the terminals.

QuickAid Machines - Computer terminals throughout LAX provide airport and transportation information at your fingertips. These terminals, known as QuickAid machines, are operated by touching the symbol of the category on the screen that pertains to your interest.

Transportation: Passengers departing LAX can use the Passenger Drop Off Only Location (9011 Airport Boulevard, just north of the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Arbor Vitae Street). No parking is permitted at this location. A free, frequent LAX shuttle transports passengers to the departure level, terminal curbside. The buses do not pickup passengers at the terminals to return to this lot.

Parking: Due to heightened security measures private vehicles can enter the Central Terminal Area, but only to park in the parking structures. No curbside pickups or dropoffs of passengers from private vehicles are permitted. The metered parking stalls in the Central Terminal Area (CTA) parking structures are open to the public. Vehicles with disabled parking license plates or placards are able to park for free in any available metered space in the parking structures. No public parking is allowed in open-air metered parking lots. All travelers are urged to avoid driving to the airport or being driven to the airport in private vehicles.
